Camera & Septic System Location Services
At Seabound Septic Services & Waste Management, Raleigh NC homeowners can rely upon us to quickly diagnose and resolve any of your septic system repairs as we utilize the latest technology to complete timely septic system repairs. Cameras are used for inspection, allowing for a non-intrusive way to assess the condition of septic tanks and drain lines, identify issues such as blockages or septic system damage before they become a major problem.
Our Seabound Septic Services & Waste Management team utilizes the Rigid SeeSnake series of cameras with TruSense technology. These cameras are ideal for small pipes and conduits with tight turns. The advanced, high-flexibility push cable and small radius camera design allows inspection through small diameter pipes, p-traps and small radius ends that other inspection systems often cannot inspect.
SeeSnake Camera TruSense Technology
Diagnostic Imaging –
SeeSnake cameras with TruSense technology feature a high
dynamic range ( HDR ) image sensor for superior clarity and
detail in diagnostic imaging.
Improved Visibility –
HDR technology allows for a greater ratio of bright and dark
areas to be displayed simultaneously, reducing blown-out
areas and improving visibility in drain pipes
Advanced Features –
TruSense enabled monitors provide valuable information
about the in-pipe environment, including digital self-
leveling, a TiltSense Inclinometer along with a pan/zoom
feature.
How Septic Cameras Work
A waterproof video camera, often mounted on a flexible rod ,is inserted into the
septic tank or drain lines
The camera transmits real- time video footage enabling technicians to visually
assess the interior of the system without digging or disruption.
The images can be saved for future reference and used to diagnose problems and
pinpoint the location.
Benefits of Using Cameras
Accurate Diagnosis – Cameras help pinpoint issues such as blockages , damage , or irregularities in your septic system.
Minimizes Disruption – They allow for non-invasive inspections, reducing the need for extensive excavation and disruption to your septic system.
Preventative Maintenance – Regular camera inspections help detect potential problems early, saving on costly repairs later.
Efficiency – Camera inspections streamline the diagnostic process therefore leading to faster problem identification and a timely resolution.
Our Seabound Septic Services & Waste Management team also has another advanced technology tool in their tool box as well which includes Prototek flushable transmitters along with a NaviTrack Scout Locator
512Hz Frequency Prototek Flushable Transmitters
Function – These transmitters emit a specific frequency signal that can be detected by a compatible locator receiver.
How They Work – The Transmitter is flushed down the drain line and the signal it emits is tracked by a receiver locator.
The receiver locator picks up the signal and indicates the location of the transmitter, which in turn helps pinpoint the location of the septic tank or other features.
Purpose
Locating septic tanks as they are particularly useful for finding the location of septic tanks, especially when the location is unknown or unmarked.
Tracing sewer lines as they can be used to trace the path of sewer lines, helping to pinpoint where they connect to other fixtures or the septic tank.
Identify blockages as the transmitter can be flushed down the line to help locate the obstruction.
Locating collapses as they can identify areas where the sewer line has collapsed or is damaged.
RIGID NaviTrack Scout Locator
Uses multi-directional antenna technology that sees the entire signal all the time.
Depth is automatically calculated and displayed when over the target.
Accuracy as the locator verifies the locate position using a micro-mapping display to make distinctive poles in front of and behind the target, insuring an accurate location.
